A week ago, I submitted an email to Governor Scott’s office.  Since then I’ve discovered the Office of Open Government.  Each request is listed by the name of the requester.  If you pay attention to Keys media, you’ll see some familiar names.  I clicked on several requests, and many were related to appointments.  Not just in the Keys but throughout the state.

Again, I have to commend Governor Scott for the efforts he’s made toward increased transparency.  Perhaps in the near future, records related to appointments will be available online.

My questions about Wagner’s seat can be answered through a public records request.  So I’ll submit in that format.  Several folks in the Keys have requested documents regarding Bob Dean.  The documents related to some of those requests are available at the links provided.
